Serving the Community

Wayland Church is apart of the Eufaula community, so our commitment is to serve the needs of the families we encounter daily. We do annual backpack drives, free to all children in need of supplies. We've started a Vacation Bible School this year and had a great number of children participating. For the past three years we've served the hungry at the local Friendship Kitchen on Saturday's once a month. It's a collaborative effort of several churches in the area, each preparing a meal on a scheduled Saturday to the seniors and families in the community, Our love for people is the backbone of the church, and this is what God instructs us to do in His Word.
